Young Cowboys & Cowgirls
PONY RIDES - Are free and available for all guests under 7 years old. Pony rides are offered in the main corral after the trail ride departs. If you do not see a wrangler in the corral, simply ring the cowbell for assistance. FREE
JUNIOR WRANGLER INSTRUCTIONAL - This ride is a one on one instructional for kids ages 5-7. They will learn how to brush the horse and then ride all by themselves in the small JW Corral. The wrangler will give personalized instructions to the junior wrangler in a controlled, safe environment to transition them from hand-led pony riders to self-guided trail riding. This ride builds confidence in the saddle as a new rider. Limited Availability so make sure you sign up! Each lesson last approximately 20 minutes. Cost $10 per lesson.
BARN BRATS - Young Riders that want a "hands on" experience will love the Barn Brat program. Meet the Wranglers at the barn at 1:15pm and work side by side with a wrangler preparing the herd for the afternoon rides. Don't be afraid to get dirty! It's an hour of cleaning, tacking, feeding and then join the wranglers on the trail for the afternoon's first ride. Speak to the wranglers for more details and find out if you are a Barn Brat!
