Here is an overview of each of our
rides so that you can find the ride
that is right for you:
Beginner Ride:
A lovely walk through the woods
and slow enough to enjoy the
beauty of nature around you. Our
most popular ride, it is ideal for
first time trail riders and those
looking for a relaxed, comfortable
ride. This ride is offered
year-round to all levels of riders.
Intermediate Ride:
On this ride, riders will walk and
trot depending on the group’s
overall riding ability and
weather/trail conditions. Often a
brisk ride, it requires experienced
riding skills.
Advanced Ride:
A fast paced energetic ride for
those with riding experience, it
features walking, trotting, and
cantering, depending on the
group’s overall riding ability and
weather/trail conditions. Riders
will be field tested. If, in the
opinion of our staff, it is in your
safety to change your riding level,
you will be asked to do so before
the ride departs on its respective
trail.
NEW Extended Ride:
At 90 minutes long, this 4 p.m.
extended trail ride is the perfect
way for intermediate and
advanced riders to end their day.
Not quite ready for the trail?
If you are not quite ready for our
beginner trail ride, we offer out of
saddle instruction daily in the OK
corral. Our barn foreperson will
prepare you for the trail by
teaching you basic riding skills
and reviewing what you can
expect out on our trail rides. We
recommend riders participate in
this program prior to riding on the
Intermediate or Advanced rides.
