The abundance of outdoor and indoor activities, cozy accommodations, well kept facilities and convenient dining at Pinegrove are made all the more special by your extended family, the dedicated Pinegrove staff. From the barn to the front desk and dining room, you will get to meet and know each of them by name as they become part of a memorable family vacation you won’t find anywhere else. As part of our down home hospitality, we’d like to introduce you to some of them now.

Owner/Operator - David O'Halloran
Pinegrove Ranch & Family Resort is family run and dedicated to family fun. David’s family opened Pinegrove in 1971. David worked his way through just about every job at the ranch, each a learning experience and the opportunity to hear first-hand from the guests about their stay at the facility. He became General Manager in 1983, and took over full ownership of Pinegrove in 2004. His hands-on understanding of the property, and the needs of his guests, have helped David expand and improve the amenities at Pinegrove as well as build a staff of friendly, dedicated individuals.

David, his wife, and two children strive every day to make Pinegrove the best family vacation experience it can be for the many guests they host throughout the year.

“David’s Mom” – Patricia O’Halloran
Yes, that’s her title. And, at 76, Miss Pat, as she is lovingly called, has become everyone’s Mom at the ranch. For over 20 years, she has been an integral part of the reservations department, always ready to help guests with a warm hello and a friendly smile. Give Miss Pat a call today. You’ll feel welcome as soon as you hear her voice.

Director of Sales – Jill Marsden
Jill came to us with 20 years experience in the resort industry, a degree in hotel administration from Cornell, and a genuine love of people. She loves greeting old Pinegrove friends and meeting new ones while seeing that every guest receives the personal attention we’re known for. Jill oversees the daily operations of the resort’s advanced bookings and sales, and works closely with tour operators, group leaders and families in planning their dream vacation.

Social Director - Judy Davies
Judy has been our Social Director for four years and oversees the activities scheduled hourly throughout the day for all of our guests. Judy also acts as a Pinegrove “ambassador”, traveling throughout the year spreading the news about our ranch and family resort to various groups.

“Little Maverick” Day Camp Director – Wendy Temple
Wendy may be new to our children’s program, but with 10 years of day care experience and being one of 11 children, she sure knows and loves kids. Child care is second nature to Wendy, and her spirit, dedication and enthusiasm helps make our day camp a special place for kids. When you meet her, you too will understand why your little Mavericks won’t want to leave.

Stable Managers - Mike & Kat Phillips
Mike has been at Pinegrove for 13 years, and Kat joined him eight years ago. As seasoned stable managers, their expertise provides our guests with enjoyable, and safe, horseback riding and cattle drive experiences. They also supervise the pony rides, Junior Wrangler, Barn Brats and out of saddle instructional programs.

Executive Assistant to the owner - Cindy Norton
For more than seven years, Cindy has worked closely with the owners of the Pinegrove Ranch and Family Resort to ensure that the tradition of a unique family vacation adventure continues. She works to facilitate communications between all departments to provide the very best service and vacation experience for all our guests.

Front Desk Supervisor - Betsy Laik
Betsy has worked at the ranch for three years. She is here to accommodate all of your needs and always willing to help in anyway she can. Betsy ensures the Front Desk is available to our guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the Activity Desk is staffed.

Dining Room Supervisor - Ivan Mesa
Ivan knows Pinegrove intimately, as he has been part of our team for the past 20 years. He coordinates all of the wait staff in our sit-down family style dining room. His dedicated staff provides dining service during three meals daily. They all are a welcomed resource for our guests, answering many of their daily questions about scheduled activities and the overall Pinegrove facility.

Beverage and Bar Service Manager – Louise Simpson
Louise’s good-natured personality lights up our Silver Dollar Saloon and Bullroom. She coordinates our fabulous Bloody Mary parties and cocktail hours, and greets every guest with a smile… guaranteed.

Hostess - Shirley Solcberg
Shirley has been with us for 10 years and really is the hostess with the “most”ess. She takes great pride in making your dining experience pleasant by providing excellent service and smiles to all of our guests. She also ensures that our dining room is a warm, friendly place for guests to meet each other and foster new friendships.

Housekeeping Supervisor - Joe King
Joe has had 15 years of hotel experience, and joined the Pinegrove staff this past year. In the short time that he has been here, there have been many noticeable improvements to our accommodations. They include new décor – comforters, drapes and brand new Sealy mattresses – to every one of our rooms. Bunk beds have also been added to many rooms. Housekeeping services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Director of Maintenance – Angel Torres
Our service and acc
ommodations aren’t the only impeccable features of the Pinegrove Ranch. Thanks to Angel, who joined our family in 2004, the spectacular grounds that surround the resort, as well as our indoor facilities, are managed and maintained daily for our guests’ year-round enjoyment.
