Frequently Asked Questions

What time can we arrive at Pinegrove?
Arrival is anytime after 11:00 a.m. Your room might not be ready until between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., as check out from the rooms is at 11:00 a.m. If you do arrive early, we welcome you to enjoy the facilities while you are waiting and suggest packing a separate bag with your bathing suits to make it more convenient. A changing room can be provided. Your first scheduled meal is dinner, but you are welcome to enjoy lunch on us at the Food Court.

How are meals served?
You are automatically assigned a table in our Round-Up Corral restaurant, but should see our Maitre D’ after 3:00 p.m. for any special dining needs. A full-service breakfast is served each morning in the main dining room. Lunch is served often at the food court or check out Tapadero's salad bar. Thursday and Sunday enjoy our barbeque lunch on the Lawn. (Served seasonally.)

What if my kids are hungry between meals?
Great Vacation For The Whole Family Our snack bar is available from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. for fries, ice cream, hot dogs, popcorn and nachos with cheese at no additional charge.

How does the horseback riding work?
For our guests who choose to purchase horseback trail rides, ride tickets will be issued at our front desk. You must have ride tickets to reserve your rides times. Sign-ups are each afternoon. Your first ride is generally on the day after your arrival, but if you wish to ride on your check-in day, we will be happy to check on availability. Horseback ride tickets may be purchased at the front desk. Pony rides for children 6 and under are available at no additional charge. What should I wear to go horseback riding?
Jeans (shorts are not recommended.) Boots or hiking shoes. Sneakers are permitted but not recommended. No sandals or open toe shoes. We provide helmets, however you are encouraged to bring your bike riding helmets.

What activities are there in the evening?
Each night we offer music or family shows (magicians, jugglers, etc.) in the Bullroom night club. We also have campfires and sing-a-longs throughout the week.

Do I have to bring my own pool towels?
Pool towels are provided. Sunblock and shallow-end swimmies can be purchased in our gift shop.

Should I tip?
We pay all of our staff at or above minimum wage. Gratuities should only be given for better than expected service at your own discretion.

What if I would like to extend my stay?
Just check with the front desk and we will be happy to offer the best available package for the extra nights.Let us know as soon as possible so that we may extend the stay in the same room.
